RefME: Researching is fun!

I’m excited to share my most recent guest blog post with you all. It’s filled with ideas for lesson plans to use when teaching research skills using RefME. I’ve included ideas for a last minute lesson if a class just shows up in the library, or a well thought out and prepared lesson. Feel free to use any of the ideas from here and tailor them to suit your needs.

Hope this is helpful.

sad it been sold to citethisforme and all the good things on refme is no longer on citethisforme and i am looking at finding something a lot better than citethisforme to the same standards as refme.com

    1. I’m also sad that this has happened. I’ve been speaking to other librarians about this and it seems to be between Mendeley and Zotero. NoodleTools is great, but does have additional steps and is paid (I do think its excellent for younger grades especially though – I plan to use this in the future). EasyBib now includes all kinds of additional writing tools that aren’t great. It’s also now quite expensive for what you get. CiteThisForMe, I am not impressed with at all. The quality of the citations, the formatting it comes in, the outdated interface, no folders 🙁 I really don’t like it. Let me know if you find a great solution. Sadly, I don’t have one at this point.
